Former Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe dies age 95.

The former President of Zimbabwe and the country’s first post-independent leader has passed away while receiving treatment in Singapore.

Zimbabwe’s President, Emmersom Mnangagwa gave the sad news on Friday morning that former Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe at has died at the age of 95.

He tweeted:
“It is with the utmost sadness that I announce the passing on of Zimbabwe’s founding father and former President, Cde Robert Mugabe,”

“His contribution to the history of our nation and continent will never be forgotten. May his soul rest in eternal peace.” he added
