Zainab Halima Aliyu the Nigerian Lady who was arrested in Saudi Arabia has been released according to reports from newsmen.
Zainab was wrongly arrested when some hard drugs (tramadol) was found in her bag at the airport in Saudi Arabia but after investigation was carried out in Nigeria, it was discovered that she was innocent because there were some group of inhuman airport cartels who planted drugs in passagers bag at the airport in Nigeria who was later caught in the act thrigh investigations.
It would be recalled that President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the Attorney General of the Federation to make every necessary move to free Zainab from detention in Saudi Arabia.
According to TVC News, the permanent secretary to foreign affairs made this known today that Zainab Aliyu has been released and the other victim is set to be released tomorrow.
“Alleged drug trafficker, Zainab Aliyu, who was detained in Saudi Arabia has been released to the Nigerian mission in Saudi. The other victim, Ibrahim Abubakir will be released tomorrow.”
This can also help the Saudi government to soften the death penalty law on drugs to avoid killing of innocent people.
