Hushpuppi arrested in Dubai by Interpol and FBI over alleged fraud
Flamboyant Social media celebrity, Ray Hushpuppi has been arrested by International Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation FBI over alleged fraud.
He was reportedly arrested in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Unconfirmed sources claim he was arrested for $35million wire fraud meant American natives during the coronavirus pandemic as pallatives.
It is also claimed that he [Hushpuppi] was also involved in some fraudulent act of supplying ventilators and test kits.
Hushpuppi was arrested alongside his colleague Mr. Woodberry on the ground of fraud on Tuesday night.
The news broke out on Tuesday night by controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo on Twitter and several sources have confirmed the information of his arrest is true.
As at the time of this report, there is no statement from Interpol over the arrest of the Nigerian social media celebrity.
According to Kemi Olunloyo, Ray Hushpuppi and his colleague Mr Woodberry was arrested alongside his neighbours Pac and Efe Martins in the Palazzo Versace apartment in Dubai.
Ray Hushpuppi whose real name is Raymond Igbalodely and he was born on June 14th, 1988.
He had claimed many times that his source of wealth is from his real estate business.
