Brazilian no 10 Jersey man, Neymar Jnr Dos Santos has been stripped off his Brazil’s captaincy due to disciplinary reasons.
The 27 years old has been replaced by fellow club teammate, Dani Alves who will now captain Brazil for the 2019 Copa America tournament.
Neymar was announced as the permanent captain of the National team by Coach Tite fews months after Brazil was eliminated in the Quarter Finals by Belgium in 2018 FIFA World Cup held in Russia.
The Brazilian head Coach demoted the Paris Saint-Germain forward from the National team’s leadership role due to pressure he has faced from diferent sessions concerning Neymar’s indiscipline on and off the field.
The Copa America will begin on June 14 and ends on July 7 with host Brazil kicking off the tournament against Bolivia before facing Venezuela and Peru.
Brazil will be looking forward to win their first Copa America title in 12 years after they last won the tournament in 2007 when they defeated Argentina 3 nil in the final.
Ahead of Brazil’s friendly matches against Qatar and Honduras, Tite announced Dani Alves will captain the team in the friendly games and also in Copa America.
The 36 years old defender has already captained the national team on four occasions including their 1-0 friendly match victory against Germany in 2018.
Dani Alves has made 138 caps for the Brazil’s national team.
Neymar recently has been given three games ban by French Football for hitting an opponent team’s (Rennes) fan during the French Cup final.
PSG had a shocking defeat in the French Cup final against Rennes losing on penalties which was so much to the dissatisfaction of Neymar in the dressing room.
Reports has emerged that the forward said some words and had fracas against PSG squad young players which he blamed for the game lost.
One player who also who has nothing taken it likely with Neymar’s behaviour against the squad young players is French Forward, Kylian Mbappe.
Kylian Mbappe and Neymar had a fall out because the 20 years old felt Neymar’s words was hinted against him reasons been that he had a red card during the match.
