‘Resign now or face the law’- PDP tells Buhari

Nigeria’s major opposition party, The Peoples Democratic Party PDP has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to resign as Nigeria’s president following a leaked video by the Minister of Information and Culture Lai Mohammed appealing to Nigerians to forgive the President over is waec result.

The National Publicity Secretary of the PDP while giving their remarks noted that the video was an illustration of guilt owing to the fact that the President couldn’t defend his waec result before the presidential petition tribunal.

The Party said that it is of no more effect if the video was doctored currently or old as claimed to be an old statement made by the minister in 2015.

The Peoples Democratic Party in conclusion during a press conference by the National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan said:
“the video was pushed into the pubic to influence the mind of the tribunal to bend the law after solid evidence has been presented before it against the president”
