It is recalled that Musa Wada the younger brother of the immediate past governor of Kogi state Idris Wada emerged winner of the state’s PDP gubernatorial election which was criticized by Dino Melaye’s camp as totally unacceptable.

Dino Melaye rejected the PDP governorship primaries result for Kogi after he alleged the election was a fraud that denied him the ticket to be the party’s flag bearer in the upcoming state gubenatorial election.

Dino Melaye in his revocation statement stated that he wishes the party all the best but he won’t be part of the casualty that has categorised the Kogi State chapter of the Party.

He wrote:

“Let me state categorically that I have turned down the position of Director-General of the PDP Kogi State Governorship Campaign Council. I wish PDP all the best. When truth is a casualty there is chaos.” Senator Dino Melaye wrote.
